FROM is a new Danish magazine about youth and culture. They seek to chronicle the cornerstones of youth: the good and the bad, the hip and the ‘unpretty’, the deep and the superficial.

They decided to make it as they were convinced that there was a cultural void in Danish print media. Intuition has played a key role in the magazine’s realization, along with freedom, good people, young inspiration and loads of talent.
Twice a year they will print views on childhood and contemporary life in both photographs and words. To all who find the thoughts and fashions of young people interesting – teenagers, parents, bachelors, grannies – whoever you are, if you read this, they are guessing you’ll find the subject of growing up worth digging into.
This is their very first issue, and it is anything but perfect but they are proud all the same. They meet Caspian, a girl-turned-boy, comment on and embrace the moral issues of beauty pageants for kids, document the homes and minds of four young Copenhageners, hear honest replies on why they reproduce, and make room for crafty visual contributions and diaries from two young Danish girls.
FROM is about youth, for youth and written by youth!
