Introducing Mr. Léman & Dieckmann. Two talented guys, who are a part of the new Danish Label, Gartenhaus. Together with the rest of Gartenhaus crew they’re throwing a big party tonight at Culture Box. Don’t miss it.

A little something about yourself boys?
We are two young boys at the age of 21. We both grew up in the suburbs. Our entire life, our taste in music has made the two of us, stand out from our friends. The first time, that became clear, was at the age of twelve. We where looking through Lemans’ grandparents record collection, and there we found “Jean-Michel Jarre – Oxygene”. Ever since that, our passion for electronic music has bin burning.
We are now both living in Copenhagen, where we each spend a lot of time doing our own productions, remixes and DJ sets. Additionally, we are both part of the new Danish label Gartenhaus. We already have 4 releases on out, you should check it out here. We will be throwing a party tonight, February the 3rd at Culture Box , to celebrate Gartenhaus’ first label night. We’ve picked up Cosmic Cowboys from Italy, and together with them that night, Tim Andresen, Rasmus Juul and Frits will be playing.

Five quick ones

How would you describe your style?
We both have a great love for deep house. Additionally, we are completely hung up on all that is new disco and tech house.

Your first record?
Mr. Léman : Louis Armstrong – greatest hits 12” (1983).
Thomas Dieckmann: Daft Punk – Homework 12” (1996)

Your favorite get-your-weekend-on -track?
It changes a lot. But right now for the both of us, it’s “Maceo Plex – Under the Sheets” the original track. That thing is so good.

The track you reckon, the crowd is most in to now?
Right now it’s definitely “Michael Senna & Peter Zhody – All in Vain (Blondish remix)”. It’s really seems that people really dig that!

What record from the ArtRebels webshop, would you like to acquire?
The selection is so broad, that none of us can name just one. But the collaboration with AIAIAI, Tartelet and HuskMitNavn would be our choice. Good concept and great sound.

That was it for the two gentlemen, now enjoy their sweet mix.

Thanks a lot guys!
