It’s Getting Hot In Here

Danish disco-darling, Vinnie Who, will, for the third year in a row, be the final band to take the stage at Trailerpark. Since their TP debut in 2008, Vinnie Who’s career has continually escalated. Without a doubt, one of Denmark’s best live acts, we were happy to welcome Vinnie Who back for his third year.

Niels Bagge Hansen, the androgynous young man behind the innovative Danish band, just released his debut album, Then I Met You. Gentle, warm and incredibly humble for a 23 year old disco darling, Niels took a few moments to sit down with the ArtRebels crew for a quick chat.

With a melody that you will surely remember, a huge crowd gathered on Sunday night to witness Vinnie Who perform live at Trailerpark. Vinnie Who’s open-minded pop music held the crowd’s attention throughout the duration of their performance. Comparing himself to Prince, Niels states that his music is different than what is currently being played on commercial radio stations. With a different sound of vocals and a mixture of emotions, Vinnie Who encompasses the dark side, yet still has the ability to make it fun and danceable.

Claiming that he is more confident on stage then anywhere else, Niels certainly looks like he knows what he’s doing. We were so honoured to have Vinnie Who grace us with their presence at Trailerpark. We look forward to hearing more from this talented young man and his entourage.
