This short video shows what happens when you combine ArtRebels with a mall in the northern part of Denmark.
It was probably the most mainstream project we have ever done, non the less magic happend and we all agree this was an assignment to remember.
As a creative company you quickly learn that making a living doing what you love doesn’t always happen in the surroundings or the context you first anticipated. Fortunately this has turned out to be a great learning and mind expanding experience for us. The most important thing to remember when you work with big cooperations is to keep your integrity and try the best you can to make them understand your point of view. It’s not always easy but if you stay consistent and learn how to communicate your visions they might begin to understand the value of what you bring them.
Bruuns Galleri was an absolutely pleasure to work with, as they kept an open mind all the way through… and believe me, they had never seen anything like this before!
ArtRebels Agency, Arkitektur Ministeriet and Büro Detours moved into Bruuns Galleri in Århus for one week, to build 4 huge Rebel Universes, that would activate a 2 week campaign called “Rebel Weeks”.

We arrived to Bruun’s Galleri Sunday night and went straight to work. We got our own empty shop space where most of the elements were build and painted.
The empty shop space created a buzz in the mall, especially around the kids, who loved to participate and observe the work that was being done.
In the weekend, when all the universes were done, we made the shop space into our StreetArt Workshop Space and held sneaker, collage and sticker workshops for kids of all ages.
During the build-up process we had our Guerillia team out in the streets of Århus placing movable gardens that we had build, spreading love and green vibes to the people of Århus.
