Danish Red Cross Youth helps in the everyday lives of underprivileged children and during catastrophes. The organization is run mainly by volunteers and all income is derived from donations. To celebrate the public generosity Red Cross Youth is hosting a Thankyou concert as part of an upcoming thankyou campaign. The event takes place the 12th of May at Toldboden in Copenhagen and will feature live performances by the likes of Rosa Lux, Thomas Madvig and Birk Storm.
Other noticeable acts who’ll perform during the night’s festivities include Muzzle Flash, Betty Bronx, Borneland, Danni Davisco, Witzansky, Waqar, Acid Pigs and Sorte Slyngel. The event is in all its simplicity about sending an extended thankyou to the vast landscape of people who donate money to Red Cross Youth.
Red Cross Youth is Denmark’s largest humanitarian youth organization with more than 4000 volunteers, more than 200 ongoing projects and more than 75 local development branches throughout the country. The purpose of The Danish Red Cross Youth is to improve the conditions and daily lives of vulnerable children and young people locally, nationally and internationally.
