TAKO LAKO are already proving notorious for all the right reasons. Mixing world beat with psychedelic gypsy tones, the band hits you with the urge to stamp your feet.

Named one of the “potentially biggest Danish upcoming acts” by MTV Denmark, Tako Lako is a Balkanic tour-de-force to be reckoned with. Their explosive mix of world genres and trashy gypsy tunes have swept away European audiences for the past two years.

Last Friday evening (17 August) Tako Lako  performed pieces from their new album, ‘Through the Mud,’ at various Nørrebro bars to a crowd who followed them for the album release pub crawl aptly named “MUD Crawl”.
