ArtRebels
Rec, is our record label founded by T.O.M (Thomas Berthelsen) and DJ
Sensimilla (Carla Cammilla Hjort) and will soon be joined by Halden
Blecher from the New York based blog Palms Out Sound and the amazing producer Rasmus Bille Bahncke.
The
mission is to find and develope artists from Denmark as well as other
countries, the states being closely connected to us through both Haldan
and Rasmus, whom are working within a huge network of both mainstream
and underground musicians, producers and DJ´s.
2007
has mostly revovled around creating the ArtRebels.com music store,
which is still under construction. (Launch will hopefully happen in
nov. 2007). Besides this very complicated task we have put together a
great compilation of some of the best danish underground artists
called "Frie Børn Leger Bedst" a non profit project in support of the
dansih youth culture. Read more

Besides "Frie Børn Leger Bedst" we are
currently working on a full length album with our in the house Fagget
Fairys, produced by Rasmus Bille Bahncke. The album came to life when
the Fagget Fairys went to NYC to release their first EP and ended up
having their residency together with Rasmus. After Rasmus heard the
girls perform at The Knitting Factory, it soon developed into all night
studio sessions in his, over the top

downtown Loft in Manhatten.
The
EP vinyl is released together with Palms Out Sound and produced by
Fidel Astro, YoAkim, T.O.M and dj Sensimilla. Besides the two original
tracks the EP contains 2 remixes by the hyped NYC based Drop The Lime
and the local wonder boys, Copyfokking.
Fagget
Fairys had their release party in NYC the 2nd of October 2007 at The
Knitting Factory. It was very well received as you can tell on this
picture the girls rocked the house!!
