SELMA LAMAI
I’m a designer working in the fields of graphic design, textile design and fashion. Through a multidisciplinary approach to design I’ve specialized in developing tactile design solutions. I finished my studies in Visual Communication at The Danish Design School in February 2012 and I’ve been working as a self-employed designer since 2009.

DITTE MARIE
I’m Ditte Marie and I live near Copenhagen. I’m currently spending most of my time on work, but loving the moments of inspiration and absorption, accompanied by a cup of coffee or tea. I am a huge fan of humor and having a nice time. People, thoughts and things I see inspire me. Human beings way of thinking fascinates me a lot. I’m trying to unite all of these things in my drawings. This often ends up in black and white and quite messy, but at the same time simple. I’m proud of getting the opportunity to open a shop at ArtRebels amongst talented and inspiring people.

MUTEWATCH
Mutewatch is a Swedish company based in Stockholm. We work at the center of a constantly growing international network that includes people from the film, design, fashion and music industries as well as young entrepreneurs and professionals. We are driven by curiosity and have a simplistic and human approach to technology. This is why this network is the perfect place for us to develop and test our innovations and designs, letting us have a conversation about how we can adjust and improve our products.
Our goal is to develop products that give people the tools they need to manage their time in a sustainable way. We believe in the pursuit of dreams, ambitions and personal fulfillment – whatever they may be – and embrace the possibilities and opportunities of contemporary life. The Mutewatch works for everyone who has a set of tasks, a goal to achieve and only 24 hours a day to do so.

CAPRISIOUS PUBLISHING
Capricious Publishing creates artist monographs for emerging fine art photographers and produces Capricious Magazine. Since Capricious collaborates with guest editors and chooses a new theme for each edition, the material is never lackluster–bringing together contributors from around the globe. We also publish Randy, a queer feminist zine. Capricious has an affinity for things like animals, androgyny, opposition, reclaimed life, lust, natural as well as urban life, intimacy, revolution and nostalgia. We’re very excited about inclusion within the Artrebels family and hope to meet many new photographers and friends!

PERNITTENGRYN
Begitte Lynge Andersen graduated from Kolding School of Design with a degree in interactive multimedia design in 2000 and from the line of visual communication and the line of textile in 1996. Julie Dausell graduated from the Kolding School of Design, the line of textile, in 2002. Their partnership began when they shared an office at LYNfabrikken in Århus and realized that they had a shared interest in products for children and the entire children’s universe.
Together they design textile for children. Amongst other assignments the duo have designed and decorated the wardrobes and a ceiling installation in the preschool “Kernehuset”. PERNITTENGRYN’s textiles are hand-printed in 100% cotton made in the EU. Their products come in small production series with an emphasis on individualized solutions. Begitte Lynge Andersen and Julie Dausell both love to decorate and are fascinated by quirky, funny little things. With PERNITTENGRYN they aim to create pleasant settings for play and relaxation and new delicate and decorative items for nurseries and children’s rooms.

SOFIE BØRSTING
I’m an illustrator and designer educated at the Danish Design School in 2003. I have a love affair with colours, patterns, shapes, textures, birds and animal illustrations. In 2011 I launched my own collection of art prints, cards and books. My inspiration can come from a day in the Zoo, an old bookshop or some contrasting colours in graffiti, Japanese woodprints, aboriginal paintings, children’s drawings. I am currently working with illustrating children’s books and constantly experimenting with new ideas and techniques in the visual field. Some of which may be found in the Artrebel shop in the near future. I am very pleased to have joined the Art Rebels and being surrounded by so many talented artists.
